SOUTHERN PECAN PRALINE CAKE
Southern Pecan Praline Cake is about as southern as you can get and if you enjoy pralines and pecans you'll love this , delicious and decadent cake that is simple to create.
This cake was left by me in Tallahassee Nurseries, May 18, to the Big Bend Hospice 2017 Spring Fling, Beneath a Magnolia Moon Fundraiser that will be held Thursday evening. Spring Fling is a backyard celebration with for visitors.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 15.25 ounce box butter pecan cake mix
- 1 15 ounce bath coconut pecan frosting
- 4 large eggs
- 3/4 cup coconut or vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- A Part of Southern Pecan Praline Cake with Praline and Pecan topping being drizzled on it
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and spray a 9x13 baking dish using non baking soda.
- Place the cake mix, coconut water, eggs, oil and frosting . Use your stand mixer along with a hand and mix to blend everything. Add the pecans and blend.
- Pour into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes until the top is golden brown and the cake pulls away from the sides. Put aside to cool on a wire rack.
- To make the praline topping, combine condensed milk in a saucepan and the butter and stir until the butter is melted. Pour over and serve.

Southern Pecan Praline Cake keeps well covered in the refrigerator for approximately 1 week, or you may wrap it in foil and store.
