This cake is moist tender, Cinnamony and Vibrant. Fantastic for a Sunday deal with coffee beverages or Masala Chai, or take along on trips or college. Insert a glaze/icing to turn it. Add a few nuts. Bake to cupcakes/muffins!

Ingredients

  1. Yellow Vanilla cake
  2. 1 cup non dairy milk like soy or almond
  3. 1/3 cup sugar 1 tablespoon more for sweeter
  4. 1/4 cup oil
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  6. Wonderful although A couple of drops of vanilla extract discretionary
  7. A pinch of turmeric
  8. 2 cups of flour ( I use most of unbleached all purpose, or a mix of purpose and wheat)
  9. 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional)
  10. 1/2 tsp salt
  11. 3 tablespoons sugar a mixture of routine and brown along with brown sugar
  12. 1.25 tsp cinnamon
  13. Pinch of ginger or cardamom or chai spice or orange zest for variant

Directions

  1. Add the remainder of the ingredients and mix to blend. Sugar should be blended.
  2. Insert 1 3/4 cup bread *, starch baking powder, baking soda and salt (via a sieve or blended in a different bowl). Whisk to combine. The mix must be a flowy but only slighty rigid (depends upon the flours used. You may spices to the flour for tastes.
  3. (*If using whole grain bread, begin with 1 3/4 cup bread and add more flour 1 tablespoon at a time).
  4. In a small bowl mix the cinnamonsugar and a pinch of salt. Press down with a spoon before the cinnamon is blended in and blend.
  5. Add half of this batter. Half the cinnamon mix. Pour of the batter and out it. Sprinkle the cinnamon mixture on top. Use a knife to swirl in during the batter. Spray oil on top
  6. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes (depends on the oven and pan ) Assess from the middle in 45 mins and keep baking until the toothpick comes out totally clean.
  7. Cool on the counter for 10 mins then remove from the pan and keep to cool thoroughly before slicing. Slice and simmer for upto and Shop on the counter. Slices can also be suspended. Insert an icing for dessert.
