Alright, I swear I've some recipes coming. Lol. And I am in my"what dessert if I bring about Christmas dinner this year" stage, so I am testing out recipes like mad.

This orange pound cake is tender with a glaze, and a coating of cranberry sauce indoors. It is given a festive demonstration by baked in a tube cake pan. It is fantastic for the holiday season!

Ingredients

  1. 1 package (8 oz ) cream cheese, softened
  2. 2 cups sugar
  3. 6 large eggs
  4. 2 tbsp orange juice

Zest from a orange that is little

  1. 1 tsp baking powder
  2. 1/2 tsp baking soda
  3. 1/2 tsp salt
  4. 1 can (14 oz ) whole-berry cranberry sauce
  5. For Your Glaze
  6. 2 tbsp orange juice
  7. 1/4 tsp orange zest

Instructions

  1. Add the eggs one at a time. Beat in the orange juice and the majority of the zest (booking a 1/4 tsp for your glaze.)
  2. In another bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together add to the creamed mixture, beating until just blended.
  3. Spoon half the batter to the prepared pan, smoothing the top out . Dollop the cranberry mixture and spread evenly.
  4. Loosen the sides using a knife that is soft in the pan. Cool in pan for 20 minutes and then invert on a serving plate. Let cool.
  5. To make the glaze, whisk together orange juice, the sugar and simmer in a bowl until smooth, adding more sugar or juice.
  6. Slice and Revel in!
  7. When incorporating the cranberry sauce do your best not to disperse it - this can help avoid the cake from sticking to the pan.
