This recipe has been adapted from Life Love and Sugar's Cinnamon Roll Snack Cake since I had to take sheet cakes into a purpose and was not wanting to earn a cinnamon roll sheet cake which uses a cake mix. I needed a Cinnabon cinnamon roll sheet cake, although I've nothing against it.

ingredients

Cinnamon

15 Tablespoons butter

CAKE

  1. 1 1/2 cup sugar
  2. 1/2 Cup and 1 tbsp (86g) sour cream
  3. 3/4 Cup milk
  4. 3 large eggs

Extract

3/4 tsp salt

ICING

  1. 4 1/2 tbsp grated butter
  2. 3/4 cup sugar
  3. 1 cup and 2 tbsp cup heavy whipping cream
  4. 4 oz cream cheese
  5. 2-3 cup powdered sugar

directions

  1. Combine the sugar to create the cinnamon filling and cinnamon in a medium sized bowl.
  2. Add the butter and blend until blended. Put aside.
  3. To make the cake batter, mix butter and the sugar and beat until light in colour and fluffy minutes on medium speed. Ensure you beat on it so as to give the feel that is Ideal
  4. Add the cream and blend until incorporated.
  5. Add the milk and blend.
  6. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and blend until smooth.
  7. Blend the dry ingredients in another bowl.

  9. Pour into the prepared pan and spread in an even coating.
  10. Drizzle the cinnamon sugar mix over the cake's surface. It will cover the majority of the surface of the cake.

  12. Bake the cake for 22-24 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out then remove from the oven.
  13. To make the icing, combine of the ingredients except for cream cheese and the sugar in a sauce pan.
  14. Heat on low heat till the sugar is melted, then turn heat to deliver to a boil.
  15. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat and pour into a heat-proof glass jar.
  16. With a hand mixer, beat in the sugar along with the cream and let it cool and simmer.
  17. Pour over the cake.
  18. Drink hot.
