Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 tbsp butter

Directions

  • In a large bowl, with an electric mixer to blend the cake mix, pudding egg whites, vegetable oil, orange juice, and mix. Mix for approximately 2 minutes. Pour the cake mixture into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean and the cake is just beginning to pull away from the pan's sides. Permit the cake to cool in the pan as the glaze is made by you.
  • In a sauce pan, combine butter, orange juice, and the sugar.
  • Use a skewer or toothpick to poke holes. Pour over the cake while it's still from the sauce. It is going to look like a good deal of glaze, but only keep massaging. Allow to cool before serving. This cake is best served as it has rested for approximately 8 hours.

Notes

  • After much testing, I have discovered that this particular recipe is not worked with by Duncan Hines cake combinations. I like to use Pillsbury or Betty Crocker.
