Ingredients

For the cake

  • 250 g flour
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 150 g sugar

For your drizzle

  • 200 g sugar
  • 125 ml buttermilk
  • 120 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup or honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the frosting

  • 350 gram cream cheese at room temperature
  • 120 gram butter at room temperature
  • 120 gram powdered sugar
  • 1/2 lemon juiced

Directions

  • Mix flour, baking soda, salt and spices in a bowl. Eggs buttermilk, oil and vanilla . Stir dry mixture into the wet mixture till you get a smooth batter. Theres no trouble Whether there are a few stripes of flour.
  • Stir in the sausage ensuring to book the liquid.
  • Spread the batter into the traces mould and bake for half an hour, then cover with foil and bake for 10 to 15 minutes longer until a skewer inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean with some moist crumbs.
