- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 tbsp fresh curd
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1-2 tbsp water

- Maida, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder along with coffee powder. Keep aside.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, butter and milk. Whisk till fluffy and light.
- Add milk, curd and vanilla character. Mix well.
- Add the dry ingredients in 2 batches and keep on the mix with a spatula and fold technique.
- Check the consistency of batter and then add about 1-2 tablespoons water. Consistency of the batter ought to be such that it must fall from spatula.
- Grease the cake tin and line it. Harness 4-5 times to measure the mix.
- Preheat the oven for 10 minutes.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes in 180 degrees. Be attentive. Baking time will change for every convection. Add a toothpick or skewer at the middle. Cake is prepared if it comes out clean. If not, then bake for a couple of minutes.
- Cover with a cloth and permit the cake to cool. Once trendy, invert onto a plate and then remove paper. Be mindful whilst unmolding the cake.
